Shampoo Bar FAQ

How many uses should I get out of a bar?

Depending on your hair length, you should get up to three normal sized shampoo bottles worth of use out of these water-free, TSA friendly bars.

Which bar should I use for my hair type?

Use this handy guide below to figure out which product might be for you!

Shower Beer: Our Shower Beer Shampoo is perfect for normal to oily hair, fine hair, or folks who wash their hair every day. This bar contains moisturizing hops extract and mild conditioning agents for soft hair that isn't weighed down.

The Chronic: The Chronic is perfect for dry hair, textured hair, or folks who wash more sparingly. Loaded with conditioners and nourishing h8mp seed oil for extra conditioning.

Why should I use a shampoo bar vs traditional shampoo?

Our shampoo bars are perfect not just for everyday use, but also for travel! Water free, these little pucks save up to three plastic bottles of shampoo. Yeah, that's a lot of plastic not being used :) Plus, these bars are travel friendly and camp friendly!

Why are these more sustainable?

These bars not only limit the amount of water you're paying for, it also limits the amount of water and resources needed to produce them. Along with this, we aim to source readily available, non-harsh (sodium lauryl sulfate) cleansers which are better for your hair and skin and better for waste water.

You can also feel confident using these bars as our packaging is 100% plastic free, and the entire box including the label can be composted or recycled. The wrap is biodegradable and can be composted.

These bars are travel friendly, wallet friendly, and hair friendly as there is no transition period from liquid shampoo to shampoo bars.

How do you use a shampoo bar?

Similar to using a soap bar, just wet your hair, wet the bar, and then rub the bar onto the roots of your hair to create lather. Once the lather has been established, let it rip and lather away! Rinse and repeat as needed :)
