Behind the Scents October: The Smells of the Cool Season
Fall is an interesting time both in the studio and in my home as both places aim to do the same thing for very different reasons: it's deep clean and reset season!
At the studio, we typically deep clean in anticipation for the crazy season ahead. We donate any excess if we have it, limited edition labels and packaging get counted and stored, we stock up on shipping boxes and tape and re-organize the shipping area to handle the volume uptick, and we're staging overflow stations.
At home, I'm moving my summer clothes around in my closet and shifting my cooler weather clothing to the front, stashing away any summery candle scents to trade for my fav fall scents like Bourbon and Rye, and I swap out my summer colors for towels and small rugs for my fall colors. I want my home to FEEL warmer than it does in the summer, and little things like tea towels and bath mats are a great low budget way for me to vibe shift.
WE FINALLY DID IT: BODY OIL REFILLS ARE HERE
It may have taken two years to finally get this done, but we finally figured out a way to do it! So let's make it official: we now stock body oil refills AND they are available in five new scents! It's the exact same formula we've had forever that's now available in even more of your favorite scents.
You'll also see an upgraded bottle, one that's both easy to refill just like the last bottle, but it's MUCH easier to pump with one hand. Our customers have a very wide range in abilities, and folks with limited hand strength will enjoy this improved experience alongside everyone else. Inclusion is important, you know? It's also smaller and TSA friendly, and the bottle has improved shatter resistance for those who like to use it in the shower or as a bath oil. High marks all around!
I shared the Vetiver + Sweetgrass because I am absolutely loving this as my fall body scent, but I'll tell ya that the fav at events has been Sunset Fig!
THE HOLIDAY PREVIEW
ICYMI, we're also previewing our NEW holiday collection: Woodland Rituals. You all know how inspired I am by the scent of the world around me, and as someone who loves the outdoors and the turning of the seasons, this holiday collection was heavily inspired by the smells that plants, trees, wood, and earth give off as the season goes from warm to cool. Boggy, fall harvested cranberries, sap covered woods, dried leaves, dormant mosses and treasured resins provide a woodland walk twist on holiday. I am SO incredibly excited for this collection, and I hope you all love it as much as I do :)
