Behind the Scents May: A New Collection

In case you missed it, the main story of the month is our latest release: the new Touch Grass Collection. For those that missed the buzz on TT, #touchgrass started as a means to essentially say, "Uh, YOU need to get outta the comments and offline for a while" to those frustratingly arguing in comment sections and completely losing their humanity in social media. It's a phrase that basically says you're cut off - like someone at a bar who's been overserved. And as someone who's spent some time being chronically online, I gotta say, the first time I heard the phrase I knew EXACTLY what it meant: time to step away dude!
I'm obsessed with the term and the idea because it forces a type of accountability. Like, don't get so obsessed, but it's also a communal check on its people. At the end of the day, we could also use a little reconnect and that's exactly what this collection is about. It's allowed us to bring back some of our best selling outdoorsy scents, and introduce a couple new ones to the line.
So, this month we welcomed back Desert Sage + Saguaro, Sunshine + Coconut Nectar, and the scent of the month, Honeysuckle + Moss.
For the new, we introduced Northeast Coast, and graduated the Vetiver + Sweetgrass into a permanent line scent :)
SCENT OF THE MONTH

Honeysuckle + Moss reminds me of a trip I took to New Orleans some years ago where I was lucky enough to visit the Barataria Preserve which is a little over an hour outside of the city. It's TEAMING with life, and at the time the Honeysuckle was in full bloom. Spanish moss draped the trees, lily pads filled the waterways, and dew covered the blooming shrubs. It was absolutely beautiful and it smelled unREAL.
KEEPING BUSY OUTSIDE OF SOAP
As an art school girlie with a background in sculpture, sound design, and illustration, I've been looking into ways to reconnect with my creative roots. I started sketching again and MAN...I'm rusty! I'm relearning how much of a muscle the ability to draw is and how it needs to be exercised...my drawing muscles are extremely weak right now. lol So, along with journaling a bit more, I'm forcing myself to start sketching again too. We all need hobbies, and this business has all but consumed me in the last few years so finding a hobby as become a means to breathe.
What are your hobbies right now, or what are you interested in diving into/learning more about?
